This Mahal antique rug measures 10' 5" x 13' 8" and presents an allover floral pattern softened by time. The field carries layered rosettes, vine work, and medallion-like elements, all framed by a patterned border that still reads clearly through the wear. Cream, white, brown, muted rust, and faded blue tones create a quiet, weathered surface with a grounded, tonal presence. Circa 1910 - 1930, it shows medium distress and a distinctly lived-in finish that lends depth without overwhelming the design. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
