This Dorokhsh antique rug measures 13' 2" x 14' 3" and presents a washed, time-softened field in cream, white, taupe, and muted brown. The composition is anchored by an allover floral layout, then gathered by multiple borders with small repeating motifs and restrained burgundy accents. Heavy wear has lifted much of the pattern into a quiet, tonal surface, giving the piece a layered, atmospheric presence. Circa 1900 - 1925, it reads as a study in faded ornament and patina, where detail remains visible but beautifully diffused by age. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
