This Mahal antique rug measures 7' 5" x 10' 8" and carries a softly worn, luminous palette of neutral, white, and cream with traces of faded blue-grey and rust. The allover floral field is quietly framed by a restrained border, with palmette and vine motifs now dissolved into a layered, time-softened surface. High distress gives the piece its atmospheric patina, revealing areas of fade and wear that feel integral to the composition.
