This Mallayer antique rug measures 3' 6" x 12' 9" and carries a long, architectural format with a time-softened presence. A faded blue field is laid over with repeating geometric medallion forms and fine latticework, then framed by narrow borders in brown, ivory, and taupe. The drawing feels orderly yet worn, with the pattern gently blurred by age and medium distress.
