This Mahal antique rug measures 5' 2" x 12' 11", presenting a long, elegant format with a softly aged surface and a restrained palette of cream, ivory, beige, and muted terracotta. The floral field is faded into a layered, almost painterly composition, while the border remains visible in fragments of scrolling ornament and quiet contrast. High distress gives the piece a lived-in, atmospheric presence, with areas of wear that soften the pattern without losing its structure.
