A restrained Yazd in a soft, sun-warmed palette of neutral, brown and gold. The field reads as a carefully panelled grid of square medallions and palmettes that repeat like a worked textile sampler, while a darker patterned outer border frames the composition. Handwoven wool has developed a supple surface and softened highlights that read as patina; the piece shows medium wear consistent with age. This antique rug retains clarity of design despite abrasion, offering a tactile history in every softened knot and faded cartouche. Circa 1900 - 1935. Measurements: 14' 6" x 22' 3".
