An ornate Kashan Dabir in rich navy and warm neutral tones, composed in wool with a repeating lattice of floral medallions and scrolling arabesques. Ivory highlights and rose-pink accents lift the deep blue field while narrow guard borders and a broader floral outer band provide structure and contrast. The surface shows low wear and a soft, tactile pile; the drawing remains crisp and finely detailed. This antique rug reads as a studied interplay of colour and pattern, refined yet lively. Circa 1935 - 1955. Measures 9' 8" x 12' 10".
