A refined Kashan Dabir in wool, rendered in a restrained neutral, white and cream palette. The field resolves into a scalloped medallion and repeating geometric floral lattice, the borders filled with layered vine and rosette bands. Surface abrasion and softened contrasts reveal a lived, tactile patina while pattern detail persists in the medallion and corner spandrels. Medium distress lends depth to the flat, pale ground and highlights the hand of age. This antique rug measures 10' 4" x 13' 10" and balances intricacy with quiet restraint. Circa 1940 - 1955.
