A generous Tabriz in wool, 12' 0" x 20' 0", where a muted seafoam field meets a saturated red floral border. All-over palmettes and scrolling vine motifs thread across a softly abrached ground; the wool shows medium wear with warm brown and ivory accents emerging through the pile. The border remains clearly articulated while surface wear and gentle fading lend a tactile patina that reads as both craft and history. This antique rug balances ornate drawing with the quiet of long use, its colours settling into a subdued, harmonious register. Circa 1885 - 1915
