This Tabriz displays a bold central medallion set into a saturated red wool field, framed by layered ivory and soft-gold floral borders. Floral arabesques and meandering vines fill the scalloped spandrels, with pale-blue accents that animate the pattern. The wool retains a soft lustre and shows low distress; gentle abrash and even fading read as patina rather than damage. An antique rug of considered proportion and fine visual rhythm, its ornament remains precise and tactile. Circa 1950 - 1965. Dimensions: 9' 6" x 12' 9". The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
