Kysari in silk, a quietly sumptuous antique rug whose large central medallion floats on a worn red field framed by layered floral borders. Soft creams and muted golds patinate the medallion and guard stripes, while subtle grey-green accents remain in the corners and inner cartouches. The silk weave catches light where the pile remains, revealing a tactile, low-relief surface and deliberate age. The piece shows medium wear and even abrash that read as calm, lived-in texture. Circa 1900 - 1915. Size: 6' 7" x 9' 5". The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
