This Hook wool rug presents a measured repetition of cream medallions set against a muted green ground. Each square contains a soft floral star, the field linked by foliate-cross connectors that read like a stitched lattice. The surface shows an even mellowing and gentle abrash that reveals the rug's use and material presence; the pile lies softly, tactile and worn in all the right places.
