This Hook rug measures 2' 6" x 3' 10" and reads as a tactile study in repeat floral geometry. Hand-hooked wool uses a warm neutral ground punctuated by rose-pink and cerise red blossoms, each set within a softened lozenge and linked by cross-shaped negative space. Low abrasion preserves the plush surface and the colours remain lively while gently mellowed with age. A simple dark outline around each motif gives a stitched, vernacular sensibility.
