This Tabriz reads as a quietly luminous study in neutrals: an ivory field embroidered with an all-over palmette and vine lattice, punctuated by soft pink and muted aqua highlights. The wool surface shows medium distress and even abrash, areas of low pile and gentle surface loss that read as patina across the ground and borders. Repeating floral cartouches and stylized animal motifs remain legible beneath the wear. The tactile finish and faded register convey measured age and craft, an antique rug with restraint and presence. Circa 1925 - 1940. Size: 9' 0" x 11' 6".
