A quietly luminous Indo-Chinese wool rug in a restrained neutral palette, the field woven with a subtle herringbone lattice and punctuated by spare chinoiserie motifs and faded medallions. Pale blue-green and soft rust accents sit against a warm cream and tan ground that reads almost sun-washed where wear has rubbed the pile thin. The border’s geometric key and roundel vocabulary remains legible despite broad, high-distress abrasion that gives the piece a lived-in patina.
