This Sarab displays a measured geometry of octagonal medallions and serrated lozenges in coral-red and muted tones set on a neutral ground. Narrow guard borders frame an ivory outer band of linked rosettes, while the wool pile shows low distress and a softened surface that reads like well-handled linen. Motifs remain clear despite mellowing, giving the composition a quiet, tactile presence. This antique rug is made of wool and measures 6' 9" x 11' 6". Circa 1900 - 1920. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
