The Kysari presents a soft, silk-woven field in nuanced neutral greys warmed by red, cream and gold accents. A stylised palmette medallion anchors scrolling floral vines that radiate toward a wide floral border. The silk pile retains a delicate sheen even as the surface shows medium, even wear and painterly abrash that reads as layered time. Tactile and refined, this antique rug balances faded colour with purposeful pattern, its hand-polished surface revealing threads of white and cream within the design. Circa 1900 - 1915.
