A silk Kysari defined by a shaped central medallion and layered palmette borders, offered at 5' 8" x 8' 9". This antique rug carries a warm red field that steps into neutral ivories and deep brown outlines, the silk mellowed to a satin-like glow. Floral vining and small palmettes remain legible despite medium surface wear; abrash and softened contrasts give the piece a lived, tactile presence. The border registers cooler neutrals and restrained ornament, balancing the composition with a gentle, time-earned patina. Circa 1900 - 1920.
