A Sarab runner in wool, its long neutral field animated by three elongated medallions and an allover lattice repeat. Warm red and gold accents sit like paint on a gently aged ground; the pile shows low, even wear and subtle abrash that reads as soft patina. The hand of traditional design is clear in the palmettes and narrow guard borders, refined and restrained. This antique rug measures 4' 3" x 11' 0" and carries a quiet, heritage presence. Circa 1885 - 1900. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
