This Kashan runner presents a pictorial field of figural panels in soft reds, neutrals and muted greens, woven in wool with a refined, clothlike surface. Mounted horsemen, attendants and palace architecture are arranged in narrative registers, held by a looping floral guard border and an inscribed cartouche. The palette reads as ivory, coral and teal with navy and warm brown accents; colours are quietly restrained and the pile shows low, even wear. An antique rug with clear compositional intent, 4' 3" x 7' 2". Circa 1900 - 1920 The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
