This silk Kysari presents a serene, panelled prayer-field rendered in cream and ivory with muted red highlights. The design is composed of repeated mihrab arches containing stylised trees and floral sprays, set within a narrow cartouche border punctuated by small medallions. Time has softened the silk's original sheen; high distress and areas of surface loss give the piece a contemplative, tactile presence. The palette reads as quietly warm neutrals, the motifs worn to a delicate impression. This 5' 11" x 9' 3" piece is offered as an antique rug that carries visible history and craft. Circa 1850 - 1870
