An elongated Saraban in a whisper of white and cream, the 4' 9" x 16' 0" runner reads like a worn textile ledger of time. High distress has softened motifs into a subtle allover boteh-lattice, the border reduced to a faint frame of foliate bands. The wool surface reads as a soft, matte field that invites close inspection; abrash and threadbare patina are evident across the length. This antique rug retains a reserved, crafted vocabulary where age becomes the primary design element. Circa 1880 - 1900. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
