A muted Tabriz in wool, defined by a large central medallion nested inside a dense floral lattice and scalloped spandrels. The neutral palette, beige, cream, taupe and warm brown, has softened with time, producing a low-contrast, tactile surface and subtle faded terracotta accents. Multiple guard borders hold repeating rosettes against a worn ground, the overall effect one of calm patina. The piece shows medium distress with even abrash and softened detail that highlights its handcrafted language. This antique rug reads as quietly refined, a study in aged colour and texture.
