An ivory field hosts a formal vase with rising flowering sprays, delicate palmettes and a deep navy floral border, all worked in soft blues, rust and sage green. Woven in wool, the surface shows low, even wear and a gentle softening of colour that feels tactile and lived-in rather than degraded. The drawing remains precise; pattern and border retain clear definition despite subtle abrash that enhances the rug's layered character. Circa 1920 - 1935.
