A Tabriz defined by a bold central medallion set into a warm red field, this wool antique rug balances saturated colour with refined, antique motifs. Delicate light-blue and cream arabesques float from the centre, framed by multiple guard borders rendered in beige and neutral tones. The pile shows low wear and a soft, tactile surface that accentuates handworked detail rather than heavy restoration. Measures 4' 2" x 5' 10" and retains an intimate, composed scale. Circa 1895 - 1915, the piece reads as a studied example of late 19th to early 20th century Tabriz design, quietly worn and craft-forward in presence.
