Hook is a hooked wool rug arranged as a checkerboard of small square panels, alternating concentric color fields and loose floral sketches. Pale pinks, cream and soft neutrals sit within slim dark lines that organize the surface into a tactile lattice. The hooked pile reads as gently worn, with subtle abrash across the pink fields and a few period stains that contribute to the rug's lived patina. The wool gives a matte, yielding hand and a quiet warmth to the palette. This antique rug measures 5' 5" x 8' 8". Circa 1925 - 1955.
