A soft-hued Hook worked in wool presents a quietly refined, timeworn surface. A faded central floral medallion moves into loose scrolling garlands and a contrasting dark floral border; the palette reads neutral, cream, white and muted blue with touches of rose and sage. Surface abrash and softened pile give the piece a tactile, lived-in quality, while the hooked chainstitch rendering creates painterly petals and leaves. This antique rug measures 6' 0" x 9' 0" and shows modest perimeter wear that underscores its history and hand-made character. Circa 1905 - 1935.
