A restrained Khotan in a soft neutral register, woven in wool and exhibiting a quiet, tactile presence. The field hosts repeated square cartouches and small floral roundels organized around a modest rectangular reserve; a layered Greek-key border frames the composition. The palette of cream and warm brown has mellowed with age, registering a gentle abrash and medium distress that read as patina rather than damage. This antique rug reads as both architectural and intimate, the surface softened by long use and careful repair. Circa 1900 - 1920. Dimensions: 4' 4" x 7' 7".
