This Tabriz presents a mature, worn patina across a classical medallion composition in wool. The 9' 4" x 12' 8" scale holds a stepped cartouche field dense with floral arabesques and vine work, the red and brown ground softened to neutral, ivory and touches of faded blue. Surface abrash and medium distress lend the piece a tactile, heritage quality; fine details remain visible where the pile has worn. Read as an antique rug with layered colour and age, it carries a calm, architectural presence and quiet craft in every faded motif. Circa 1920 - 1935
