A Kysari rendered in silk with a whisper-light presence and an intimate round field. The surface reads in warm creams and pale peach, the medallion and rosette network softened by time into a quietly abstract floral arabesque. A scalloped floral border punctuates the perimeter while the remaining fringe shows thoughtful attrition. The piece retains tactile silk sheen in protected areas, and a worn, readable pattern where traffic smoothed the pile. This antique rug measures 4' 9" x 4' 9" and carries a restrained, heritage character. Circa 1890 - 1910. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
