A broad, quietly refined Tabriz rendered in a soft neutral field and washed cream highlights. The wool shows a highly softened surface, the floral lattice and palmette motifs reading as faint, elegant ghosts against a muted gold ground. Narrow guard borders and a more defined outer border remain visible despite heavy overall wear; abrash and vertical wear bands add measured patina. This antique rug carries the tactile language of extended use and careful repair, its atmosphere gentle and lived-in. Circa 1910 - 1930. Measurements: 12' 0" x 18' 6". The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
