This Mallayer runner measures 3' 7" x 19' 4" and presents a pale, softly worn ground threaded with faded rust, ivory and gentle seafoam. A procession of floral medallions and palmettes travels the central axis, framed by narrow guard borders of repeating rosettes. The wool pile has a low sheen and areas of even abrash and light pile loss that lend a quietly lived-in patina. The measured symmetry and rhythmic repeat give the piece an architectural calm; the colours read warm and muted in natural light.
