The composition is a disciplined procession of angular lozenge medallions, each filled with compact geometric motifs, contained by multiple guard borders and a plain neutral outer field punctuated with small guls. The restrained palette of tan, cream and brown gains depth from subtle abrash and the soft hand of wool. Low distress keeps the pattern crisp while imparting a quietly worn surface.
