Bakhtiar Bag with a deep red ground, accented by cream and white outlines and dusky purple highlights. Two mirrored panels of repeating diamond medallions sit within rectilinear frames, surrounded by layered geometric guard borders and bright corner star squares. The wool shows a soft, low-wear nap and subtle abrash that lends layered colour across the surface; the central braided closure remains intact. Wear is minimal, limited to small losses at the edges and gentle pile flattening. As an antique rug its graphic geometry and tactile presence are clear. Exact measurement 3' 0" x 4' 8".
