This Dorokhsh presents a warm, sun‑faded red field threaded with pink and cream, its dense all‑over motif resolved into fine, repeating floral and boteh-like elements. Subtle abrash and layered color give the surface a soft, tactile patina that reads like worn silk in wool. Framed by multiple narrow guard borders and concentric bands, the composition remains elegant and restrained. A carefully preserved antique rug, the piece measures 12' 3" x 21' 5" and shows low distress with even edges and minimal loss. Circa 1890 - 1910. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
