A Kysari in silk, defined by a deep red mihrab panel set against a pale cream ground and finely drawn floral vines. The composition centers on a decorative vase motif at the base of the niche, balanced by slender tree-like panels and a delicate multi-band border. Colours are restrained , crimson, ivory and soft greens tempered by neutral fields , and the piece shows low wear, retaining a tactile silk sheen. This antique rug reads as both ornamental and quietly aged, its details preserved with refined restraint. Circa 1890 - 1920. Size: 4' 10" x 7' 2".
