Soft-spoken and finely detailed, this Kysari silk antique rug measures 5' 0" x 6' 9". A low-contrast medallion unfolds across a whisper-soft field, rendered in cream, warm neutral and pale grey with discreet rust accents. Traditional Kysari arabesques and a stepped cartouche resolve into a delicate floral border. The silk pile and medium distress produce a linen-like patina; motifs are softened and show faint vertical abrash. Circa 1900 - 1930. The overall presence is tactile and restrained, a heritage piece where age and craft are legible in every softened thread.
