A softly faded Tabriz in wool, 11' 0" x 17' 0", the composition centered on a pale medallion that radiates boteh and palmette forms into a field of small floral motifs. Muted teal, dove grey and warm taupe settle into a quiet, low-contrast palette; layered cartouche borders frame the design with restrained linework. The surface shows even abrash and mellow wear that reveals a tactile, lived-in sheen. This antique rug reads as a study in age and craft, its patinated tones and fine drawing shaped by time.
