This Mallayer runner measures 3' 5" x 16' 0" and is an elegant example of wool weaving refined through time. The field carries a dense repeat of floral and diamond motifs that shift in soft bands of red and rose-pink against a neutral ground, framed by a narrow palmette border. Surface wear is low and even, with subtle abrash that reads as a gentle patina under hand. The long, linear format and close, disciplined repeat make this an accomplished antique rug that feels tactile and quietly composed. Circa 1890 - 1910
