This Kysari antique rug in silk, measuring 6' 3" x 9' 5", is composed with a finely layered floral field and a dark, formally balanced border. The terracotta ground is softened by ivory blossoms, navy outlines, and restrained brown and muted teal accents, giving the surface a quietly aged glow. Small animal motifs and compact medallions are woven into the overall design, adding movement without disturbing its symmetry. Low distress is visible in the gentle wear and softened finish, consistent with Circa 1900 - 1915. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
