This Tabriz antique rug in wool measures 9' 10" x 19' 3" and carries a hushed, timeworn presence. The field is softly layered in cream and warm beige, with traces of floral tracery, palmettes, and arabesque detail that emerge and recede across the surface. A subdued border remains visible at the edges, though much of the drawing has mellowed into the ground. Circa 1900 - 1935, its high distress and faded palette lend depth, restraint, and a beautifully worn patina. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
