This Kysari antique rug, 3' 9" x 5' 3", is woven in silk and composed in a softly worn palette of gold, cream, teal, rust, and plum. An arched central field frames a floral tree motif, with small figural scenes gathered near the lower edge and a richly ornamented border enclosing the composition. The surface shows medium distress and gentle fading, which lend the piece a quiet luminosity and layered texture.
