This Kysari antique rug measures 4' 4" x 6' 4" and is woven in silk, with a softened palette of cream, blush red, muted terracotta, warm grey, and pale gold. Its layered composition gathers a small central medallion, scrolling floral forms, and geometric framing into a balanced, timeworn field. The borders are richly worked yet gently faded, allowing the design to read with restraint and depth. Circa 1895 - 1910, the surface carries medium distress, with visible wear and a tactile, luminous finish that suits the refined delicacy of the material.
