This Kysari antique rug, 6' 4" x 9' 2", is woven in silk and composed in a restrained palette of neutral beige, cream, and white with softened accents of rust and olive. A calm central field is framed by an arching mihrab-inspired motif, suspended pendants, and layered floral borders that read with quiet precision. The silk surface has a luminous, lightly timeworn finish, with medium wear that softens the contrast and lends the piece a measured, atmospheric presence. Circa 1900 - 1915. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
