This Kysari antique rug measures 3' 8" x 5' 4" and is woven in silk, with a softly faded palette of ivory, coral red, blush pink, and muted beige. A tall central panel anchors the composition, filled with an intricate floral lattice that reads almost embroidered in effect, while the surrounding borders carry fine, vine-like detail and a quiet sense of symmetry. The surface shows medium wear and gentle fading that soften the pattern without diminishing its presence. Circa 1880 - 1900, it carries the patina and refinement of a silk piece shaped by time.
