This Tabriz antique rug measures 12' 9" x 19' 2" and presents a finely balanced composition in wool, with a richly layered field anchored by a large central medallion. The palette moves between red, blush pink, ivory, muted blue, and green, creating warmth without heaviness. Floral vines, scrolling arabesques, and stepped corner spandrels give the design a formal rhythm, while the border frames the layout with clear definition. Circa 1900 - 1915, it shows low distress and a softly worn surface that preserves the clarity of its drawing while lending the piece an easy, lived-in character.
