This Khotan antique rug measures 8' 5" x 16' 7" and presents a hushed field in warm ivory and tan, framed by faded red and brown borders with delicate scrolling ornament. The composition feels spare and architectural, with the pattern held close to the edges so the worn center reads almost like a wash of light. High distress is visible throughout, including soft fading, frayed edges, and age-softened detail that lends the piece its layered character.
