This Yazd antique rug measures 9' 0" x 13' 6" and presents a richly layered floral composition softened by time. A central medallion settles into an allover field of scrolling vines, palmettes, and small blossoms, all framed by a dense floral border. The palette moves between blue, cream, white, and neutral tones with muted burgundy accents, creating depth against the visibly worn surface. Medium distress lends the piece a supple, lived-in character, with broad fading and abrasion that gently blur the design. Circa 1920 - 1935, it carries the quiet atmosphere of a well-aged antique rug.
