This Dorokhsh antique rug measures 9' 6" x 12' 8" and presents an all-over floral field softened by time. The composition layers scrolling vines, small blossoms, and a finely worked border system that moves from delicate inner lines to a more decorative outer frame. Its wool surface carries a muted palette of neutral, green, white, and cream, lifted by traces of aqua and red. Low distress leaves the design legible while allowing the patina to feel settled and authentic. Circa 1925 - 1945, it balances restraint and ornament with quiet depth.
