This Mallayer antique rug measures 6' 7" x 9' 6" and carries a quietly weathered presence. A dense allover lattice of small geometric forms softens into a pale, timeworn field, while the border remains lightly articulated with scrolling detail and faint floral reserves. The wool pile shows high distress, with broad fading and a muted, chalky hand that gives the composition depth without heaviness.
